She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science +-------+ with a big passion for software development & competitive programming (even though she's not really that good at it). Acelle learned programming last December 2022, first year of college. The first code that she ever ran was a "Hello World" program at her Computer Programming 1 class. From that point, she started studying coding to have the kind of knowledge that she has today. Her goal? To be the best version of herself, and to have fun along the way! P.S. Get to know her more with these trivias! > Acelle graduated high school at Bignay National High School (BNHS). > Acelle was a member of the MTAP team and the Filipino Journalism team. > Acelle graduated with high honors during her time at BNHS. > Acelle graduated senior high school at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela. > Acelle graduated with highest honors and a degree in STEM.

[004] Professional Skillset ________________________________________________________________________________ Here are the languages and technologies that Acelle is knowledgeable in, or is currently studying. --[005] C ---------------------------------------------------------------------- It is the first programming language that Acelle learned. She is knowledgeale of its basics, as well as some advanced concepts such as pointers, structures, and file handling. --[006] Java ------------------------------------------------------------------- It is the language that taught Acelle the OOP paradigm. Acelle knows how to build GUI applications in AWT, Swing, and JavaFX using Java. This is currently the language that Acelle is most well-versed in. --[007] JavaScript ------------------------------------------------------------- Acelle studied JavaScript on September of 2023 and stopped on October of the same year. Currently, she is trying to transition from Java to JavaScript in order to pursue web development. To add, she is currently studying JavaScript and its related runtime environments and libraries to further enhance her JavaScript knowledge. --[008] Git/GitHub ------------------------------------------------------------- Acelle uses GitHub as her tool for source control. She started GitHub around the same time she started studying JavaScript. Currently, she is adept on its basics and she's planning to study Git further, to better organize her codebase. --[009] React ------------------------------------------------------------------ This is a library that Acelle once tried for a project on Information Management. Acelle is trying to learn this along with JavaScript to become a full-stack web developer. --[010] Node ------------------------------------------------------------------- The first backend tool that Acelle tried. Although she is a beginner, she has become familiar with it and plans to continue developing her skills to become more adept in backend. --[011] LaTeX ------------------------------------------------------------------ Acelle learned LaTeX as part of her requirements on a certain subject in her second year of college. She has tried writing complex mathematical equations, tabular formats, and image handling using this tool. --[012] MariaDB ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is the first RDBMS that Acelle learned. She is quite adept at its syntax and she has experienced making complicated queries with this tool. --[013] MySQL ------------------------------------------------------------------ MySQL is part of Acelle's curriculum for her second year of college. Although this is not the first RDBMS that she has tried, she quickly adapted to it with the help of MariaDB, which is 99% compatible with MySQL.

[014] IDEs ________________________________________________________________________________ Below are the IDEs that Acelle uses to either learn a language or build and de- velop applications. --[015] VS Code ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is the first IDE that Acelle used. It is also the current IDE that she is using actively, and she can confidently say that she is proficient on it. She also built 90% of her projects on VS Code. --[016] NetBeans --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the IDE that Acelle uses for desktop applications with advanced GUI. She built her most recent collaborative project, NaviJeff, on this IDE. She is well-versed on its Java Swing form utility and even JavaFX Scene Builder. Acelle is also planning to shift to IntelliJ for more appplications built with JavaFX. --[017] Dev-C++ ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an IDE that Acelle used back on her first year of college. She prima- rily used it to run and build C programs. --[018] Eclipse ---------------------------------------------------------------- Acelle used Eclipse when she started learning Java. She built simple Java applications here before migrating to NetBeans for its GUI-friendly tools.
